What is a Building Set-Out?
In Queensland, a set-out survey is needed for a variety of construction projects, including any houses, carports, granny flats and renovations.
This kind of survey ensures the home is built in accordance to the approved architectural plans and is in the correct position.
It involves moving the design onto the land itself, by marking out the key points and lines, so that builders can stick to them during construction.
Building Set Out for New Home Canungra
The QSS team was proud to offer a positive contribution to the new home build at the end of the quiet Canungra cul-de-sac.
For the stunning Hobbs Building & Interiors home, QSS accurately located the property boundaries by field survey and checked against the existing survey plans.
Our team examined the supplied approved design plans to ensure they met the setback requirements. Then we uploaded the information onto a computer that allowed efficient set-out of the design in the field.
Final certification was a super smooth process for Hobbs Building & Interiors.
We confidently supplied a Form 16 Certificate to confirm that their build complied with council regulations and conditions.
